Signamax™ Connectivity Systems' Managed Compact Fiber Access Switch provides the capabilities that are needed for mission-critical fiber-extended networks. The 065-7210 series of switches allows redundant path fiber extension to small workgroups and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) clusters with automatic failover. These switches support a complete SNMP management and monitoring package to safely extend management capabilities and advanced internetworking features over fiber to workgroups, smaller campus buildings, and production or control machinery equipped with PLCs at Fast Ethernet speeds. Tagged VLAN and Quality of Service (Qos) packets are fully supported by these switches to allow administrative and production networks to coexist on the same redundant fiber link. |
